General Touchdown for Tots Information
Why the Tots Program?
Join the largest youth flag football organization in the country! This is an excellent program before making the jump into our recreational league. There are no try-outs and everyone participates!
The Touchdown for Tots program is only available for children in Pre-Kindergarten and Young 5's (ages 4-5). We recommend all first-year players that are ages 4 & 5 choose this option instead of the regular league.
Touchdown for Tots Program

What is the difference between the regular program and the Tots Program?
The biggest difference between the regular program and the Touchdown for Tots program is that the Tots program does not play games. This program is for learning the fundamentals of the game and character trait building. It is perfect for young players, especially beginners.
On the last weekend of the season, coaches are welcome to get with other Tots coaches to set up a scrimmage with other Tots teams. This will give the players a chance to put what they’ve learned into action on the field!
The guide has our How to Be a Good Sport Character Trait program. This aspect of the program teaches players how to be good sports both on and off the field. Each week there will be a new character trait to focus on. These traits will lead up to the last week of the program and this is where the Sportsmanship trait will be discussed. The goal is to use each trait to build a well-rounded ‘good sport’ who do things like help to set up, encourage teammates, and follow rules.
Week 1: Teamwork
Week 2: Encouragement
Week 3: Fairness
Week 4: Helpfulness
Week 5: Respect
Week 6: Sportsmanship
How much does it cost?
The price for the Tots program depends on each league location. You can find the specific price for the Tots program by going to the “About” tab on the state website and then choosing the “[Season, year] Touchdown for Tots” option.
What is the uniform?
Players will receive a t-shirt and a flag belt. Mouth guards do not come with the uniform, but are required to practice. You can purchase them during registration, at our Flag Fan Shop, at the field, or at your local sports store.
