Division Breakdown

NFL FLAG FOOTBALL is a recreational co-ed flag football program for both boys and girls. You’ll find that our leagues are broken down by grade, not age. During the registration process, we typically look at how many participants we have in each grade level. So, for example, here’s a general format: 

• Lombardi - PK/K/1st grade divisions
  *If we have enough 1st graders, they will play in their own division
• Shula - 2nd/3rd grade divisions
• Madden - 4th/5th grade division
• Madden - 6th/7th/8th grade division (available at limited locations) 
  *If we do NOT have enough 7th/8th graders, the 6th graders will play with the 4th/5th grade division

When available, divisions may be broken down individually by grade. Example: the 2nd graders may have their own division within Shula and 3rd graders may have their own division. 

Please note that this varies from season to season based on the number of registrations we receive in each grade/division. That said, we always do our absolute best to match up our participants fairly, so everyone can have a positive flag football experience.
